(Wedding) Food for Thought

If I could tell you what the most important part of your wedding day would be...It wouldn't be the dress...It wouldn't be the reception...It wouldn't be the food...It wouldn't be the flowers, location, pictures, or even the honeymoon afterward.

The most important part of your wedding day is that it's your wedding. No one else's.

Your wedding should be a reflection of you and the love of your life. If you want to have your wedding in your front yard, do it.  If you love cornhole, play cornhole at the reception.  If you want a chocolate fountain, have a chocolate fountain! If you want to wear flip flops during the ceremony, forget the haters and wear the flippy floppys.

Your wedding day should tell your story of love, share your perspective of your relationship, and set the stage for your life with your husband/wife.  Your guests should be able to see your story through your wedding day.

Everything from the location, to the music, to the food, to the colors, to the date, to the wardrobes, and everything in should all tell the story of you and your love for one another.

You only get one wedding. Make it yours.
